Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate rapid response efforts during aviation-related emergencies and safety incidents.
- Conduct regular patrolling and surveillance of terminal facilities to ensure compliance with stringent aviation security standards.
- Manage the deployment of emergency equipment and ensure all apparatus is maintained in a state of high readiness.
- Collaborate closely with government agencies, law enforcement, and airline stakeholders to streamline emergency protocols.
- Execute complex incident command procedures and maintain accurate documentation of emergency logs and post-incident reports.
- Provide training and guidance to junior personnel on emergency preparedness and evacuation strategies.
- Perform threat assessments and identify potential safety vulnerabilities within the airport perimeter.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Engineering, Public Safety, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in emergency response, firefighting, or aviation security operations is highly advantageous.
- Possess a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive under extreme pressure.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and risk identification.
- Proficiency in incident reporting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must satisfy all regulatory security vetting and medical clearance requirements for working in a restricted airport environment.
