Responsibilities
- Coordinate architectural design activities across multiple high-rise construction projects
- Review and ensure compliance of architectural drawings with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to resolve design conflicts
- Manage design documentation, revisions, and approvals throughout project lifecycles
- Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to approved architectural specifications
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to address architectural concerns and provide technical guidance
- Prepare and present architectural reports, progress updates, and design recommendations to senior management
- Mentor junior coordinators and contribute to continuous improvement of architectural processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in architectural coordination, preferably on high-rise building projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software applications
- Strong understanding of Malaysian building codes, UBC, and relevant construction regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Professional registration with the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) is highly desirable
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget constraints
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
