Railway Assets Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil & Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of civil and infrastructure projects for railway systems
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments for infrastructure developments
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges
- Conduct quality control inspections and risk assessments for infrastructure projects
- Prepare progress reports and present project updates to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university
- Minimum 7 years of experience in civil infrastructure or railway engineering projects
- Professional engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is highly advantageous
- Proficient in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and SAP2000
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian building codes, JKR standards, and rail industry regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage
- Valid CIDB certification and experience with infrastructure contracts is preferred
