Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test multi-tier distributed software application frameworks for our core SaaS platform.
- Create scalable and maintainable system designs to improve overall platform efficiency and reliability.
- Develop high-quality backend services using modern programming languages (Go, Python).
- Lead architectural discussions and drive technical decision-making for new initiatives.
- Optimize application performance and reduce infrastructure costs through effective resource management.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define project scope, technical requirements, and delivery timelines.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Ensure security and data protection best practices are embedded in all software development lifecycle phases.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically designing and developing backend distributed systems.
- Extensive experience with SaaS platforms and microservices architecture.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or Java.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proven ability to design highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL, and caching technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience working in agile environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
