Dart Global Logistics is seeking an experienced Senior Customer Service professional to oversee Ocean Export operations. You will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end export workflows, preparing accurate shipping documents, and liaising with customs brokers to ensure compliance with international regulations. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, share best practices, and continuously improve service standards to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for local clients, vendors, and overseas partners regarding ocean export shipments.
  • Coordinate and monitor shipment arrangements from booking to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Prepare and verify export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Liaise with customs authorities and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth clearance and regulatory compliance.
  • Track cargo status, proactively address delays or issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints swiftly, aiming for high satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, communications, and service metrics in the logistics management system.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and recommending best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in customer service or operations within ocean freight or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, INCOTERMS, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, or similar MS Office tools).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail and a customer‑centric attitude.
  • Team player with leadership potential; experience mentoring or supervising junior staff is a plus.
