Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital on a 3-year contract. Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare datasets to extract actionable insights and inform clinical decision-making
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, patient risk stratification, and treatment optimization
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, data engineers, and IT to design AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into clinical workflows
- Design and maintain robust data pipelines for processing structured and unstructured healthcare data
- Conduct rigorous validation and evaluation of models to ensure accuracy, fairness, and reliability in clinical settings
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare AI and data science, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis or data science, preferably in healthcare or clinical research
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with R, SAS, or other analytical tools is a plus
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data visualization libraries
- Experience working with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, ICD codes) and electronic health records is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
