Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects
- Perform detailed calculations and engineering analysis using CAD and simulation tools
- Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and construction teams
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local electrical codes and standards
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 6+ years of experience in electrical design and systems engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MATLAB, and electrical simulation software
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation
- Experience with renewable energy systems and battery storage preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
