Join Seatrium as a Senior Electrical Engineer and lead cutting-edge electrical design solutions for complex offshore and marine projects. Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for offshore/marine topside facilities
- Perform detailed electrical calculations, load analysis, and equipment selection
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and project-specific engineering standards
- Manage technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Provide on-site engineering support during installation and commissioning phases
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, structural, control systems)
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for electrical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with topside/marine focus
- Strong proficiency in engineering software (ETAP, AutoCAD, EPLAN)
- Deep knowledge of power distribution, protection systems, and hazardous area classifications
- Certification in relevant standards (e.g., IEC 60079, Class Divisions) preferred
- Proven project lifecycle experience from FEED to commissioning
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
