Responsibilities
- Independently develop and manage detailed electrical BIM models using Revit for mission-critical Data Centre facilities.
- Lead clash detection processes and collaborate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to resolve spatial conflicts.
- Ensure all electrical design documentation complies with project specifications, local codes, and global best practices.
- Prepare and manage construction documentation, including power distribution layouts, lighting systems, and earthing designs.
- Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance on BIM workflows and Revit best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM implementation strategies.
- Maintain high levels of model integrity, data management, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, CAD/BIM Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in electrical design, specifically within the Data Centre or large-scale commercial sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP is non-negotiable.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, electrical infrastructure, and containment design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with international engineering teams.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight project deadlines.
