Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced control systems for resort facilities and attraction mechanical systems.
- Provide technical leadership for the troubleshooting and rectification of complex automation faults to minimize system downtime.
- Collaborate with vendors and external consultants on major upgrade projects, including hardware selection and integration.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance audits on PLC, HMI, and SCADA architectures.
- Develop and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety manuals for engineering staff.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical technicians to enhance the overall competency of the department.
- Ensure all engineering works strictly comply with local regulatory standards, safety codes, and environmental policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in controls engineering or industrial automation, preferably in large-scale facility or attraction environments.
- Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Omron) and HMI/SCADA development.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, EtherNet/IP, and BACnet.
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and control logic diagrams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system reliability.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or relevant certifications are highly advantageous.
