Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain advanced control systems for resort facilities and attraction mechanical systems.
  • Provide technical leadership for the troubleshooting and rectification of complex automation faults to minimize system downtime.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external consultants on major upgrade projects, including hardware selection and integration.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance audits on PLC, HMI, and SCADA architectures.
  • Develop and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety manuals for engineering staff.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical technicians to enhance the overall competency of the department.
  • Ensure all engineering works strictly comply with local regulatory standards, safety codes, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in controls engineering or industrial automation, preferably in large-scale facility or attraction environments.
  • Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Omron) and HMI/SCADA development.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, EtherNet/IP, and BACnet.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and control logic diagrams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system reliability.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or relevant certifications are highly advantageous.
