Our Global Facilities Central Engineering team plays a critical role in designing, constructing, and maintaining the high-tech facilities that enable our manufacturing excellence. We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer – Global Facilities Central Engineering (CSA) to join our dynamic team in North Coast, North Region, Singapore.
In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) projects from initial concept through to final handover. You will be responsible for developing project scopes, budgets, and schedules, managing external consultants and contractors, and ensuring that all deliverables meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Your strong technical background and project management skills will be essential in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and driving them to successful completion.
You will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, environmental health and safety, and operations to align facility designs with production needs. Your ability to explain complex technical concepts and persuade stakeholders to adopt innovative solutions will be highly valued. As a mentor to junior engineers, you will help cultivate talent and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) design and construction projects for global facilities.
- Develop project scope, budget, schedule, and resource plans in alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal departments (manufacturing, safety, environment) and external consultants/contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and Micron's standards.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility performance and reduce costs.
- Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in facilities engineering, with a focus on CSA projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
