This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a world-class institution and contribute to the cultural vibrancy of Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive volunteer recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates aligned with the Gallery's needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end volunteer lifecycle, including onboarding, training, scheduling, and offboarding processes.

  • Coordinate volunteer deployment across various Gallery functions, ensuring optimal coverage for exhibitions, public programmes, and visitor services.
  • Plan and execute volunteer recognition initiatives, appreciation events, and team-building activities to foster a strong sense of community and belonging.
  • Maintain accurate volunteer records and databases, tracking hours, skills, and performance for reporting and development purposes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new volunteer opportunities and advocate for the integration of volunteers into key projects.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in public speaking and presentation.
  • Demonstrated passion for the arts, culture, and community service.
