Berjaya Corporation is seeking a high-caliber Senior Finance Manager to lead financial operations for our Group Complex Division. This is a strategic role designed for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in a complex, multi-layered corporate environment. You will serve as a key business partner to senior leadership, ensuring the financial integrity, profitability, and regulatory compliance of our diverse business units.
As part of one of Malaysia’s most prominent conglomerates, you will oversee sophisticated financial reporting, capital allocation, and risk management strategies. The ideal candidate will possess deep analytical acumen, an ability to navigate complex organizational structures, and a proven track record of optimizing financial performance through insightful data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full-cycle financial reporting process for the Group Complex Division, ensuring accuracy and compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Direct the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning to support strategic business objectives.
- Drive performance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth levers across diverse business units.
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and working capital optimization strategies.
- Oversee taxation, regulatory filings, and liaise with internal/external auditors to maintain high standards of financial governance.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous professional growth.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports and board-level presentations to provide actionable insights into business health.
Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or MIA member).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in senior finance or managerial roles, ideally within a conglomerate or complex multinational group.
- Expertise in financial modeling, corporate finance, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of statutory reporting requirements, tax laws, and financial regulatory frameworks in Malaysia.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to interpret complex data into clear, actionable business narratives.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
