The Star Performing Arts Centre, a premier venue in Singapore, is seeking a Senior Front-Of-House (FOH) Executive to lead our guest experience operations. As a vital member of our events team, you will be the face of the venue, ensuring that every patron receives world-class service from the moment they step through our doors until the final curtain call.
In this role, you will oversee daily FOH operations, manage ushering teams, and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Front-of-House (FOH) team during live performances, corporate events, and venue functions.
- Coordinate with production and stage management teams to ensure seamless event transitions and show timings.
- Handle high-level guest inquiries, feedback, and service recovery with professionalism and grace.
- Manage deployment, briefing, and training of casual and contract FOH staff to ensure service standards are consistently met.
- Monitor venue safety, security protocols, and crowd control measures to guarantee a secure environment for all patrons.
- Prepare post-event reports summarizing attendance, operational issues, and service performance metrics.
- Assist in administrative tasks including inventory management of FOH supplies and collateral.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in guest relations or operations, preferably within the arts, theatre, or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A proactive problem-solver with a meticulous eye for detail and safety.
- Flexible work availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the event calendar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and venue management software.
