Responsibilities
- Lead high-end interior design projects from initial conceptualization through to final completion and site handover.
- Develop and present comprehensive design proposals, including 3D renderings, mood boards, and material specifications.
- Manage project budgets, procurement, and timelines to ensure all deliverables are met within scope.
- Supervise and mentor junior designers and technical staff to maintain design integrity and professional growth.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure technical drawings are executed accurately on-site.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and fostering long-term professional relationships.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and design standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related creative field.
- At least 5-8 years of professional experience in interior design, with a focus on commercial or signcraft projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a history of successful project management and aesthetic versatility.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and demanding clients.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, construction materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
