Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to increase production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focusing on cost reduction, waste elimination, and workflow optimization.
- Conduct thorough capacity planning to ensure resources and equipment align with production targets.
- Analyze production data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and Quality Assurance, to introduce new products into the manufacturing line.
- Supervise equipment installation, upgrades, and maintenance schedules to ensure maximum operational uptime.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO/OHSAS) within the production facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within a high-tech or industrial sector.
- Strong proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and Kaizen.
- Expertise in CAD software and production management tools (ERP systems).
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable technical solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and Malay.
- Proven track record in managing capacity planning and operational cost control.
