Responsibilities
- Lead design and engineering of MEP systems for high-rise buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy management
- Perform detailed load calculations, energy modeling, and system optimization for complex building structures
- Develop engineering specifications, drawings, and documentation compliant with Singapore BC regulations and international standards
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and sustainability consultants to integrate building systems
- Review contractor submittals and provide technical guidance during construction phase
- Mentor junior engineers and drive innovation in sustainable building technologies
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, and quality assurance for high-profile developments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in high-rise building projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent international qualification
- Expertise in Singaporean building codes (BCA) and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA)
- Proficiency in engineering software including Revit, AutoCAD, and energy modeling tools
- Proven track record of delivering complex MEP systems for skyscrapers (>150m)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to resolve technical challenges in vertical construction
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholder expectations
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building certifications
