Are you an expert in process design with a passion for large-scale offshore projects? Seatrium is looking for a seasoned Senior Piping Engineer to join our elite engineering team in Tuas. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the design, development, and execution of complex piping systems for offshore and marine structures. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex piping systems for offshore marine vessels and platforms.
- Prepare and review detailed piping layout drawings, P&IDs, and 3D models.
- Ensure all piping designs strictly comply with international codes, standards (e.g., ASME, API), and client specifications.
- Conduct technical reviews and piping stress analysis to ensure structural integrity and operational safety.
- Coordinate closely with mechanical, structural, and process engineering teams to integrate piping systems seamlessly.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage piping material take-offs (MTO), specifications, and procurement support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in piping engineering, specifically within the offshore or oil & gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AVEVA E3D, PDMS, or CAESAR II.
- Deep understanding of offshore piping design standards, regulations, and material selection.
- Proven track record of delivering piping designs for large-scale maritime or offshore construction projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage technical challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
