Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects from the conceptual design phase through to construction documentation and completion.
- Oversee design development, technical detailing, and preparation of comprehensive architectural drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate and collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure project objectives are met.
- Ensure all architectural designs and documentation comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and provide technical guidance during the construction phase.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in architectural practice, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Registered Architect with the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM/BAM) or equivalent professional body.
- Proficiency in industry-standard architectural software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other BIM applications.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, contract administration, and construction supervision.
- Thorough knowledge of Malaysian building codes, regulations, and submission processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
