Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented chemist looking to make a significant impact in a leading Global MNC? We are seeking an experienced Senior QC Chemist (Biologics) to join our dynamic quality assurance team. As a key member of the Quality Control department, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of our biologic products. You will be responsible for conducting complex analytical testing, maintaining strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and driving continuous improvement within the laboratory. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing on biologics using validated methods such as ELISA, PCR, and chromatography techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory documentation, including batch records, deviation reports, and investigation summaries in compliance with GMP.
  • Conduct method validation, equipment qualification, and routine calibration to ensure analytical accuracy and reliability.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot Out of Specification (OOS) results, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local and international regulatory standards, including GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, preferably within the Biologics or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of GMP regulations, quality systems, and laboratory safety protocols.
  • Proficient in operating and troubleshooting analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, UPLC, and spectrophotometers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical data clearly and concisely.
