You will be responsible for the seamless integration, optimization, and maintenance of complex semiconductor equipment, ensuring our laboratory environment meets the highest standards for performance and precision. Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and integration of new semiconductor manufacturing equipment within the research cleanroom.
  • Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to ensure high equipment uptime and process reliability.
  • Collaborate with process and integration engineers to define equipment specifications and optimize tool performance for specific research requirements.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and efficient tool utilization.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee service technician activities for specialized equipment upgrades and repairs.
  • Document technical processes and provide training to junior engineers and researchers on equipment handling and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment engineering, preferably in a research or high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in vacuum systems, robotics, thin-film deposition, or lithography tools.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems and software control interfaces.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, multicultural team.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and process optimization.
