Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in resolving supply chain non-conformances and quality deviations
- Drive material cost reduction initiatives through engineering analysis and process optimization
- Collaborate with procurement, quality, and manufacturing teams to align engineering strategies
- Conduct supplier audits and implement corrective action plans for performance improvement
- Develop technical specifications and qualify new suppliers for critical components
- Maintain and improve supplier quality systems and documentation
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance supply chain resilience and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in supplier engineering or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 13485, FDA QSR)
- Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (8D, FMEA)
- Experience in cost reduction strategies and value engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software and technical documentation standards
- Excellent communication skills with cross-cultural stakeholder management
