Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level system infrastructure including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms
- Lead system migration projects and upgrades while minimizing business disruption
- Develop and implement automation solutions for system provisioning, monitoring, and management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system solutions with business objectives
- Establish and enforce system security protocols, compliance standards, and disaster recovery procedures
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical system incidents with timely resolution
- Document system configurations, processes, and maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering with focus on enterprise infrastructure
- Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows Server administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls) and system monitoring tools
- Certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, or VMware VCP preferred
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams
