Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and equipment failures efficiently to minimize operational disruptions
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance records, technical documentation, and performance reports
- Lead and mentor a team of technical staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and external service providers for specialized repairs and installations
- Participate in infrastructure upgrade projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental standards
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Management Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance within commercial, hospitality, or integrated resort environments
- Valid Singapore Electrical License or relevant industry certifications (e.g., BCES, SCAL)
- Proven expertise in HVAC systems, building automation systems (BAS), and fire protection equipment
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and Singapore Standards
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing technical teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills with proficiency in English; ability to read technical drawings and manuals
