Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems across various venues and facilities
- Install, configure, and test new AVL equipment to ensure optimal performance and integration with existing systems
- Respond promptly to technical issues and malfunctions, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all systems meet safety and performance standards
- Collaborate with event teams to provide technical support for special events, performances, and shows
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations according to established procedures
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend system improvements and upgrades
- Train junior technicians on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Engineering, Audio Visual Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in audio visual systems maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of AVL equipment including speakers, mixers, amplifiers, projectors, LED displays, and lighting fixtures
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics, system diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Experience with control systems such as Crestron, AMX, or similar automation platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Certifications in AVL systems or related technologies are highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
