As a Senior Technician, you will oversee daily site inspections, manage contractor performance, and lead critical troubleshooting efforts. Responsibilities
- Perform daily routine inspections of building M&E systems to ensure operational integrity.
- Supervise third-party contractors and vendors to ensure work quality and adherence to schedules.
- Provide expert-level support for M&E system repairs, preventive maintenance, and complex troubleshooting.
- Execute emergency repairs and respond promptly to system failures to minimize downtime.
- Enforce strict workplace safety compliance and health regulations across all site activities.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and maintenance logs for management review.
- Collaborate with the facility management team to optimize system efficiency and energy consumption.
Qualifications
- Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or facility engineering.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
- Proficient in identifying faults and executing precise mechanical or electrical repairs.
- Valid certification in relevant safety standards (e.g., WSH) is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with external contractors.
