Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide detailed information on our authentic Italian menu and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system, ensuring all dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen.
- Deliver dishes and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of table service and etiquette.
- Actively upsell appetizers, premium wines, and signature desserts to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables and polishing glassware.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow and order accuracy.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service issues with professionalism and grace.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Server in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine pairings, and coffee service is highly preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Familiarity with modern POS systems and basic mathematics for bill processing.
- High school diploma or vocational certification in Hospitality or Tourism.
