Sushi Tei, a pioneer in Japanese casual dining in Singapore, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our family as Part-Time Service Crew at our bustling outlet located in Serangoon Nex. As a Service Crew member, you will be an ambassador of our brand, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive until they leave. You will be responsible for mastering the art of hospitality, from taking orders and serving dishes to anticipating guest needs and maintaining a pristine dining environment. Important Note on Grooming & Dress Code:

This role requires strict adherence to our professional grooming standards. Successful candidates must present themselves in a white plain polo tee, long black pants, and fully covered black formal shoes. Long hair must be neatly tied up. Only short, clean nails are permitted. You will report directly to the shift-in-charge and management on duty and are expected to uphold our high standards of service and cleanliness at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders using the restaurant's POS system.
  • Serve dishes and beverages to guests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, service stations, and restrooms.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables according to Sushi Tei's high operational standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests courteously and efficiently.
  • Adhere strictly to the company's grooming, hygiene, and dress code policies as specified.
  • Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure smooth and efficient service flow.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCE 'N'/'O' Levels or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant or F&B service environment is an advantage, but candidates with no experience who possess the right attitude are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Able to commit to a flexible, rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Must strictly adhere to the stipulated uniform dress code: white plain polo tee, long black pants, and fully covered black shoes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-centric mindset.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for prolonged periods and handle light physical tasks.
