Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service industrial and semiconductor pump systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot complex pump faults and mechanical issues using systematic diagnostic approaches
- Perform comprehensive pump overhauls and preventive maintenance procedures
- Conduct testing and quality assurance checks on serviced equipment before customer handover
- Train end-users on proper pump operation, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols
- Prepare detailed service reports, technical documentation, and maintenance records
- Provide technical support and recommendations to customers regarding pump selection and system optimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements and resolve recurring technical issues
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in pump service, maintenance, or similar industrial roles
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, seal configurations, and bearing assemblies
- Experience with PLC controls and instrumentation is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good communication skills in English; ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Valid Singapore driving license is preferred; physically fit for on-site work requirements
