Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and calibrate automation machinery and control systems according to engineering specifications.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical and mechanical components.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including PLCs, sensors, motors, wiring, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and troubleshooting logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S practices, and ISO guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and attend relevant training as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in automation equipment assembly, setup, or maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and basic PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi).
- Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro‑mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
- Valid Singapore working rights (citizen, PR, or valid employment pass).
