Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers warmly, providing exceptional service and a positive shopping experience in our golf retail shop.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate golf equipment, apparel, and accessories by understanding their needs and offering expert product knowledge.
- Effectively demonstrate product features and benefits, explaining specifications and recommending suitable options to enhance customer's golf game.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle cash, credit card payments, and manage returns/exchanges.
- Maintain an attractive and organized retail environment, including merchandising displays, replenishing stock, and ensuring cleanliness of the shop floor.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets by actively promoting products and special offers.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock counts, receiving shipments, and organizing storage areas.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest golf trends, product launches, and industry developments to better serve customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven retail sales experience, preferably within a sporting goods or luxury retail environment.
- A genuine passion for golf and familiarity with golf equipment, brands, and terminology is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in handling transactions and maintaining shop presentation.
- Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
- A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to commence work by mid-June 2026.
