GGGI (Global Green Growth Institute) is dedicated to advancing Indonesia's climate goals by strengthening its national greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory system, SIGN SMART. We are seeking a dynamic SIGN SMART Training Facilitator to lead capacity-building initiatives for government agencies, private sector stakeholders, and other key users of this critical platform.
In this role, you will design and deliver comprehensive training programs that empower participants to effectively utilize SIGN SMART for accurate emissions data compilation, reporting, and analysis. You will collaborate with national experts, adapt training content to diverse audiences, and ensure that Indonesia's GHG inventory efforts are supported by a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules for the SIGN SMART system.
- Deliver interactive training sessions and workshops to various stakeholder groups, including government officials and private-sector representatives.
- Facilitate hands-on exercises and simulations to ensure practical understanding of GHG inventory compilation and reporting.
- Assess training needs and customize content to address different skill levels and sector-specific requirements.
- Provide post-training technical support and mentorship to solidify user competency.
- Coordinate with national agencies and international partners to align training objectives with Indonesia's climate commitments.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, producing detailed reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay current with GHG inventory best practices and updates to the SIGN SMART platform to ensure training relevance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in GHG inventory management, climate change mitigation, or related areas.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering training programs and capacity-building initiatives.
- Familiarity with the SIGN SMART system or comparable national GHG inventory tools.
- Strong understanding of Indonesia’s national GHG inventory processes and reporting frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
