You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to review shop drawings, as-built documentation, and overall design compliance. Responsibilities
- Examine approved drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate design changes and revisions between the design team, contractors, and site supervisors.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in drawings and specifications before construction begins.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking drawing versions, submittals, and approvals.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction aligns with design intent and approved documents.
- Prepare and submit design coordination reports to project management.
- Assist in the review of material submittals and technical data sheets for compliance.
- Support the project team in responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) related to design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related design field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Design Coordinator, Draftsman, or similar role in construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software is required.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in complex drawings.
- Effective communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in FPIP, Sto. Tomas, Batangas (willingness to relocate or commute).
- Contract-to-hire or project-based employment commitment.
