Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor construction activities on-site, ensuring strict compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain project schedules and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks, proactively identifying and resolving any technical issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, detailed progress updates, and comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs and material usage records.
- Implement and rigorously enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site to ensure a secure and compliant working environment.
- Assist in the meticulous planning and scheduling of project phases, efficient resource allocation, and diligent budget management.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution and clear communication.
- Provide expert technical guidance and robust support to the site team, resolving construction-related problems promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably within the building and infrastructure construction sector in Malaysia.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and relevant building codes/regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD) is highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
