Kinetic Builders is seeking a motivated and detailâoriented Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Karak, Pahang. As a Site Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating daily site operations, conducting inspections, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Your expertise will help mitigate risks, optimise resource utilisation, and drive continuous improvement across our project portfolio. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction activities and ensure work progresses according to project plans and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, progress logs, and documentation for project management review.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and promote a safetyâfirst culture on site.
- Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and work packages.
- Monitor project costs, track resource utilisation, and support costâcontrol initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical queries from clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2â3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar construction supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction standards, building codes, and safety regulations (OSHA, CIDB).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other construction management software.
- Excellent problemâsolving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
- Valid driverâs licence and willingness to travel to various project sites within Pahang and surrounding regions.
- Certification in First Aid, HSE, or relevant safety training is a plus.
