Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring work is executed in strict accordance with project specifications, technical drawings, and safety regulations.
- Manage and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to achieve project milestones and deadlines efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, site records, and progress reports.
- Attend and contribute to regular site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Implement and monitor rigorous quality control procedures to ensure full compliance with BCA and workplace safety standards.
- Assist in detailed project planning, scheduling, and strategic resource allocation to optimize productivity and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior engineers and site supervisors.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to enforce quality standards and proactively identify potential risks or non-conformances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in building construction projects, ideally with a main contractor in Singapore.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations (BCA), and workplace safety standards.
- Strong track record in managing subcontractors and coordinating multi-disciplinary site teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in project management software, AutoCAD, and construction documentation.
- Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g., BCSS, MOM Safety & Health Course) is highly advantageous.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all stakeholders.
