Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure strict compliance with engineering specifications, electrical standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate daily on-site activities of contractors and workers, specifically related to electrical installation, wiring, and systems integration.
- Monitor work progress against project schedules and report any deviations or potential delays to the Project Manager.
- Ensure all materials and equipment used are in accordance with approved shop drawings and material submittals.
- Maintain rigorous safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits, ensuring a zero-accident work environment.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily site reports, progress photos, and inspection documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Verify the quality of workmanship and conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems upon project completion.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience as a Site Supervisor or Inspector in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building codes, and construction safety regulations (OSHA/EMR).
- Certification in electrical supervision or site safety is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with diverse teams.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Mandarin speaking ability is an advantage for client communication.
