Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Provide ongoing case management for families experiencing domestic, financial, or behavioral crises.
- Facilitate therapeutic support groups and psycho-educational workshops for various family demographics.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely case documentation in accordance with professional standards.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including schools, hospitals, and government agencies.
- Perform outreach and home visits to ensure holistic support for high-risk families.
- Advocate for client needs and connect families with essential community resources and social services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Registered Social Worker (RSW) accreditation with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a Family Service Centre (FSC) or community-based social service setting.
- Strong proficiency in conducting crisis intervention and family counseling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate in English and a second language to engage diverse community members.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with emotional maturity and professional boundaries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management software.
