Job Description

Flour Pot PH is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team in Taguig City. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring consistency and quality across our fine‑dining, bistro‑style, and artisan bakery‑integrated kitchens.

You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to develop and execute seasonal menus, maintain high standards of food preparation, and drive innovation in our kitchen operations. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing daily menu items, ensuring flavor consistency and visual presentation.
  • Supervise and mentor line cooks and kitchen staff, conducting regular training sessions on cooking techniques and food safety.
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and manage食材 procurement to minimize waste.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards, conducting routine inspections and corrective actions.
  • Participate in menu development, testing new recipes, and integrating seasonal ingredients to enhance the dining experience.
  • Coordinate kitchen workflow, optimize staffing schedules, and ensure timely delivery of orders during peak service periods.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fine‑dining, bistro‑style, or artisan bakery‑integrated kitchens.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse kitchen team.
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent) is preferred.
