Responsibilities
- Assist Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and Ala Carte service execution
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for Western kitchen supplies
- Ensure adherence to HACCP standards and food safety protocols
- Coordinate with service team for seamless guest dining experiences
- Develop seasonal Ala Carte menus and specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen workstations
Qualifications
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Western cuisine kitchens
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and plating
- Certification in food safety and hygiene management
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume service environments
- Leadership experience with kitchen teams
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia required
