Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely and quality preparation of all dishes
- Inspire and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and refine seasonal menus
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Ensure consistency in plating, taste, and presentation across all dishes
- Assist in scheduling, training, and performance evaluation of kitchen team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or senior line cook in a reputable hospitality or F&B establishment
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for creative, modern cuisine
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen safety, HACCP, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Relevant culinary diploma or certification preferred
