We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Civil Engineer Designer to join our remote team based in the Philippines. In this role, you will be the backbone of our site development efforts, ensuring that every grading and drainage design meets the rigorous regulatory standards required for California-based civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed grading and drainage plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D for residential and commercial land development projects.
- Ensure all civil design work complies with California local, county, and state engineering standards and regulations.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support storm drainage system design.
- Coordinate with project managers and US-based engineering teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including plan sets, technical specifications, and quantity take-offs.
- Conduct quality control reviews of design drawings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Utilize surface modeling and corridor modeling techniques to optimize site grading designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in civil design, specifically focused on land development.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of California civil engineering standards, ordinances, and permitting requirements.
- Proven experience in grading, drainage, and utility design for complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
