PT Auri Steel Metalindo, a leading player in the steel manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Staff K3 & HSE to join our growing team in Kendal, Jawa Tengah. In this pivotal role, you will champion occupational health and safety initiatives, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace across our manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and management teams to develop, implement, and monitor safety programs that protect employees, assets, and the environment.
As a Safety professional, you will conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and deliver engaging safety training sessions tailored to the manufacturing environment. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in safety performance, foster a strong safety culture, and ensure adherence to Indonesian occupational safety regulations (K3) and international standards such as ISO 45001. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain K3/HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with local regulations and ISO 45001.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments across manufacturing areas.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and prepare reports with corrective and preventive actions.
- Design and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations, prepare required reports, and liaise with government authorities.
- Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and ensure readiness of safety equipment and PPE.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through safety meetings, campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Track and analyze safety performance metrics, KPIs, and trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in K3/HSE roles within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian K3 regulations (UU No. 1/1970, Permenaker, etc.) and ISO 45001 standards.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train and influence diverse audiences.
- Certification in K3 (e.g., Ahli K3) or equivalent is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with safety management software.
