As a Staff Product Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between design, test development, and mass production. You will be responsible for leading complex product characterization, yield analysis, and optimization projects. Responsibilities
- Lead the full product life cycle from new product introduction (NPI) through to mass production.
- Conduct detailed electrical characterization and validation of mixed-signal integrated circuits.
- Perform comprehensive yield analysis to identify process-related failures and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Quality, and Test Engineering to improve product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Oversee hardware and software development for automated test equipment (ATE) to ensure robust testing coverage.
- Lead debug activities for complex silicon issues, providing root cause analysis and technical documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in product engineering methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in product engineering within the semiconductor industry, specifically with mixed-signal products.
- Strong background in ATE platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne) and characterization tools.
- Proven expertise in statistical data analysis tools such as JMP, Spotfire, or DataPOWER.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, wafer fabrication, and assembly/packaging.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead projects and work effectively in a global team setting.
