Responsibilities
- Lead product definition and specification creation for analog and mixedâsignal ICs.
- Drive architectural feasibility studies and tradeâoff analysis to meet performance, power, area, and cost goals.
- Collaborate with design, layout, and test engineers to ensure designâforâtest and manufacturability.
- Develop and execute product validation plans, including characterization, reliability testing, and correlation with simulation.
- Manage product release activities, coordinating with FAE, marketing, and supply chain teams for smooth handoff to volume production.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and mentor crossâfunctional team members on best practices.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for product improvement and new product concepts.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with Renesas quality standards and support audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in analog/mixedâsignal product engineering or IC design.
- Strong background in analog circuit design, including opâamps, data converters, and voltage references.
- Handsâon experience with SPICE simulation (Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Designer) and PCB layout tools.
- Proven track record in product validation, characterization, and yield improvement.
- Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment (ATE, parametric testers) and test program development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in multicultural, crossâfunctional teams.
- Knowledge of automotive or industrial semiconductor standards (AECâQ100, ISO/TS 16949) is a plus.
