Responsibilities
- Execute purchasing activities including requisition processing, quotation comparison, and purchase order issuance
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to achieve optimal cost savings for the company
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions, contracts, and supplier agreements
- Evaluate supplier performance through regular assessments and provide feedback for improvement
- Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, expenditure trends, and cost analysis
- Assist in identifying new suppliers and conducting market research to source competitive products
Qualifications
- Minimum diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations
- Strong numerical aptitude with proficiency in data analysis and cost calculation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Detail-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles and logistics operations
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities and ethical work standards
