Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and prepare reports for management review.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence of compliance.
- Investigate quality deviations, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and improve process efficiency.
- Monitor calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Lean programs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or assurance within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in using MS Office and quality-related software (e.g., SPC, Minitab).
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Willingness to work on shifts if required and adhere to safety regulations.
