Responsibilities
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, pots, pans, and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station and kitchen work areas.
- Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Manage the disposal of kitchen waste and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain floor cleanliness throughout the kitchen area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations strictly, including food handling guidelines.
- Assist in general kitchen maintenance and deep cleaning schedules during off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a kitchen steward or dishwashing role is highly preferred.
- Strong work ethic and a reliable, punctual individual.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Flexible availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a diverse team.
