Responsibilities
- Drive store profitability by meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
- Manage daily store operations, including scheduling, stock management, and floor coverage.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse retail team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Implement and maintain high visual merchandising standards in accordance with Bata global guidelines.
- Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify growth opportunities and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and security protocols.
- Manage inventory levels through accurate stock taking and effective replenishment processes.
- Foster a collaborative store culture that values brand integrity and customer loyalty.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in fashion or footwear.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing store P&L.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- A customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of the local retail market.
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
