Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure workflow efficiency and food quality consistency.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performance and morale.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stock audits to minimize waste.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation protocols, and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with the Store Manager on scheduling, labor cost control, and shift management.
  • Monitor food preparation times and presentation to guarantee alignment with company standards.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally to resolve any issues related to food or service.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen management, food safety standards (HACCP), and inventory control.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and POS systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Degree or certification in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field is a plus.
